Bennett Lake Lodge hasthree cabins on the island camp. One cabin for the camp manager who will be available to assist you during your stay. Two cabins for our guests, one four man cabin and one eight man cabin. Remember we operate as an out- camp which means you bring your own food, sleeping bag and fishing gear. All cabins have cooking utensils, plates, cups, forks, etc. Clean up of the cabin is your responsibility so washing dishes , sweeping floors and general tidiness is your responsibility. Please note we have no maid service.
CABIN 4:
The 4 man cabin has one bedroom with two double bunk beds to accommodate a group of four. The cabin also has a common area with a full kitchen, propane fridge, propane cook top, double sink with hot & cold running water. A table & chairs, and an air tight wood heater in the corner to take the edge off those cool mornings. The cabin also has a deck right across the front of the cabin so you can relax and watch the sunrise or sunset. A gas BBQ and some PVC patio chairs also compliment the deck. Attached to the end of this cabin is the washroom facilities accessed from outside for common camp use. Bathroom accessories include a flushing toilet, vanity sink and a shower.
CABIN 8:
The 8 man cabin has a bedroom on each end of the building with a common area between the bedrooms. Each bedroom has two double bunks a night stand and a small closet for storage. The common area has a propane fridge, a full propane stove, and a double sink with hot and cold water. Also a table and chairs with an air tight wood heater to keep the cold out. This cabin also has a deck across the whole front of the cabin and the deck attaches to CABIN 4 for easy access to the washroom facilities. A gas BBQ and PVC patio chairs also compliment the deck.
Common to the two cabins is an area with a fire pit for shared use to our guests. This may be restricted from use if we have a dry summer and the risk of forest fire warrants it.
BOATS:
We have late model 16' aluminum boats for our guests use. Each boat has a raised floor which keeps you dry and the boat cleaner. Each boat will be fitted with new 15HP four stoke engines. These engines run quieter and produce almost no exhaust smoke. Life jackets, paddles, dip net and a cooler will be available in each boat. Most of our boats have swivel seats and by opening for the season all should have been fitted with swivel seats. We will have two electronic fish locators available for 10 CAD/day funds. Please book in advance to reserve it's use. We will have two designated areas for shore lunches with picnic bench and propane stove for your use. Again open fires may be too much of a fire hazard.
